XLIC General Meeting + Management Committee 11-14 November 2013

CORINF Annual Workshop 13-15 November 2013

The first XLIC General Meeting will be held in Madrid, from the 11th to 14th of November, 2013 in coordination with the second CORINF workshop, which will take place from 13th to 15th of November, 2013. There will be XLIC/CORINF common days (13-14 November). XLIC and CORINF participants are welcome to attend both meetings. There will be no registration fee for the meeting.

ACCOMODATION: All participants have to book their own accommodation. We recommend hotels in the city center. A list of hotels can be found here. Special prices have been negotiated for meeting participants.

HOW TO GO: The place of the meeting (Universidad Autonoma de Madrid) can be access easily from”Puerta del Sol” train Station. A guide about how to go from the airport to the city center and from the city center to the campus can be downloaded in the following link.

WARNING: Be careful with the opening times of your transportation. Before taking any decision please check the timetable of your line.
Metro: From 6:00 am to 2:00 am . Keep in mind that although the stations close at 2:00am, the last train leaves from each end of the line at 1:00 am.
Renfe: From 6:00 am to 23:00 – 23:30 (depending of the line).

TRAINING SESSION on European funding and opportunities (Friday 15th): Separated registration is mandatory to attend this session. Registration is now closed.

MEALS: In order to maximize networking time among meeting participants a catering service has been organized in the meeting venue. Price per meal is 15 €.

REMARK: Cash payment on arrival will only be accepted under exceptional circumstances. Those participants interested in this option should book the meals in advanced and pay on arrival on the registration desk. Exact amount can only be accepted. Sorry for the inconvenience.
